The best investment you can make is doing something worthwhile without spending excessive cash in unnecessary places.
For what it is worth, there were several lessons I have learned throughout 2021 and 2022, especially as a blogger and freelancer. Some starter bloggers and freelancers are wondering, though...is it worth building an online business with a $0 budget? Realizing 2021 was built on clout...It is possible for many people to start their online business with a $0 budget. Of course, that also means, they have to put in more work than a person pulling a double full-time shift to make it worthwhile. The art of mastering the $0 budget isn't how much you work, but how you go about executing those creative ideas and inspirations. For example, throughout 2021, I tested different avenues. The biggest trend that caught my eye was cryptocurrency and NFTs. I mean, publishing the same picture 20,000 times is baffling, yet people buy it anyway. I stopped thinking and followed the clout, failing to accept that not everything I see online will work for someone like myself. Don't get it twisted, graphic design and building eye-catching websites is one of my strongest traits in the transitioning digital era. However, this realization caught my husband's attention quickly. Pick your online investment battles carefully!
Tips to get started, but it's up to you to finish it.Do not stuff all of your eggs in one basket, especially if you're doing it all under $5/month. Doing this was my biggest mistake, especially if my income wasn't consistent enough to support it. No, I am not saying I didn't have enough to spend $5/month for a subscription through Medium or wherever else I was blogging and generating evergreen digital goods. My intentions were, and still are, to make sure what I spent was worthwhile and not some quick fling or a "because of..." moment. If you are deciding to move forward with business less than $5/month, or bold to do it $0/month, then you will have to increase your self-discipline, and know your way around the digital realm. Use free creating platforms like Canva, Weebly, WordPress, Wix, SendinBlue, ProWritingAid, and Quora. Yeah, the ads and product restrictions are extremely annoying, but learning how to make your free product appear premium is a great skill to master. Another tip I want to mention is networking with others. Even if your content isn't 100% presentable yet, don't hide from other users. No, don't let everyone know your moves down to the dot, but talk to experts and more experienced individuals about certain concerns. Some of the information we research on the daily is listed for free somewhere (before someone decide to turn on that adaptive paywall). Remember: You are in control of your current and future success. What are you doing today that serves a purpose to someone else? Is it worth staying up late, or should you strategically outsource your workload and take the credit?
